Long-Term Moisture Damage and Corrosion
Pulp processing environments are inherently wet. Water ingress into bearing housings, seal cavities, and structural joints causes creeping corrosion of steel components, rust bloom on precision surfaces, and accelerated bearing wear. A single seal replacement won't restore internal corrosion damage; a full rebuild includes removal of all corroded surfaces, precision grinding to restore tolerances, component replacement, and reassembly with protective coatings.
