Rebuild Scope
The Complete Double-Cone Blender Rebuild Process
A rebuild is a methodical, documented process that addresses every mechanical system in your blender. Eternal Gear Rebuilders follows a structured sequence: comprehensive assessment, complete disassembly and inspection, component restoration or replacement, precision reassembly, and full performance validation. The result is a blender that meets original manufacturer specifications and complies with GMP documentation requirements.
01
1. Comprehensive Assessment & Documentation
We begin with a full mechanical inspection of your double-cone blender in your facility or upon arrival at our shop. Every major system is evaluated: cone geometry and weld integrity, shaft runout and bearing condition, seal assemblies, drive train and gearbox condition, electrical controls, and frame alignment. All findings are documented in a detailed condition report with photographs and measurements. This assessment guides our rebuild scope and establishes a baseline for GMP compliance documentation.

2. Complete Disassembly & Component Sorting
Your blender undergoes systematic disassembly, with every component tracked, tagged, and inspected. We carefully remove and sort motor, gearbox, shafts, bearings, seals, couplings, cone assemblies, and structural elements. Each part is measured, tested, and evaluated for reusability or replacement. Surface contamination is cleaned away, revealing hidden wear patterns. All disassembly steps are documented in photos and work logs—essential for your GMP regulatory file.
03
3. Precision Restoration & Component Replacement
Reusable shafts are precision-machined to remove wear, micro-scoring, and runout. Bearing housings are restored to proper tolerances. Worn cone surfaces are refurbished or replaced. All seals, O-rings, and wear surfaces are replaced with OEM-specification components. Drive system components—gearbox, motor, couplings—are rebuilt or replaced as needed. Weld repairs are performed on structural elements, and frames are straightened and stress-relieved. Every restored component meets the original engineering specification.

4. OEM-Specification Reassembly & Alignment Validation
Your blender is reassembled following exact OEM procedures and specifications. All fasteners are torqued to specification, all shafts are aligned within tolerance, and all seals are installed with proper compression. Drive coupling alignment is verified with laser precision tools. Cone balance and runout are checked. Every assembly step is recorded for your GMP documentation package. We do not reassemble until all components meet specification.
05
5. Performance Load Testing & Regulatory Sign-Off
Before returning your blender, we perform full mechanical load testing to validate that all systems operate at or above original specifications. Vibration, temperature, and power consumption are monitored to ensure healthy operation. A comprehensive test report, component certification documentation, and GMP-compliant assembly records are provided in a formal handover package. Your rebuilt blender is ready for pharmaceutical manufacturing without qualification delays.
