Chronic Bearing and Shaft Wear
Continuous operation under heavy thermal cycling causes bearing races to degrade, shafts to develop fretting corrosion, and couplings to wear unevenly. Repeated seal failures follow because misaligned shafts load seals asymmetrically. Spot-replacing one bearing slows the cascade but doesn't address the underlying wear pattern. A full rebuild replaces all bearings and shafts to OEM specification, restores alignment, and eliminates the failure cycle.
